A quick walk around a quaint courtyard with a pretty little expecting mother was well worth it. This spunky mother is expecting her first child, a baby boy, VERY SOON.... I am thankful for every time I get such a superphotogenic person to do pictures for she made this effortless.!!!!

What an adorable bundle of JOY this little angel Haley was, and lets not forget her mom and grandma. Looking into those big brown eyes, how could anyone say No!, especially SANTA, cause all she wants for Christmas is a Castle!
Merry Christmass Haley and her family and keep them and most of all her father in your prayers as he gets deployed again to Afghanistan over this Holiday Season.

Newbern Engagement

What an incredible day to be in the park. Amongst all the people there for the morning Farmer's Market and the kids sliding down the slide...there they were, an adorable new couple getting ready to take their vows in March! Not sure of what they wanted we decided to go for the very candid set. Which happens to be my favorite...guess we will just have to wait and see what her parents think about them... :) did I mention that i love Railroad tracks...and now I also love this fountain....

Baby Keith's Shower

BABIES, BABIES, BABIES

Expecting parents Teresa and Shane are having a baby boy, and what a better way to celebrate this joyous occasion than a baby shower. Especially one stocked with wine, not for the mommy-to-be but for the rest of us and most of all for the men who tagged along. Couples baby showers a new-found-fad, I had never had the experience until this past Saturday and all in all it was not bad. I had a good time, it was at a super-cute restuarant downtown called Noon Midtown, (http://www.noonmidtown.com/) typically only open until 3pm but they have recently decided to open it up for special events such as this in the later hours of the day. Great place, but I suggest not parking in the FREE parking deck, until it becomes a pay parking deck. Operation Homefront Wedding

One chance, to be part of a one day, one ceremony, 17 couple, 17 seperate vow, 90 degree weather wearing all black mass chaotic event... Who would not be excited?

The opportunity of a lifetime came to me by a dear friend of the family, Hadley of Hadley Scott Photography based out of Columbus , Georgia, who was also offered this chance to be part of a multi military wedding ceremony.

This was a chance of a lifetime, and I grabbed at it...and it was an invigorating experience. Amidst all the chaos and lack of complete organization it went off without too many hitches. I managed to get a few great shots of these couples some renewing their vows and some brand new. A few of my favorite shots are below.

A Walk in the Park

With every day brings new love. This couple, though starting off to slow start with tons of kids invading our space in the park, turned out to have more sparks than the train on the railroad tracks.

I love railroad tracks, they happen to be my favorite place for photo ops, other than the beach of course. I cannot stay away.
